The CHEMATIX
system is composed of five strategic management modules. We
invite you to explore each module in more depth by following
the links in the list below or the menu to the left.
Inventory Management
Track each and every chemical from entry
to elimination within the system. Maintain a complete list of
details pertaining to every item by scanning or entering in
its barcode. Select tracking options to perform chemical
updates, MSDS retrieval, laboratory transfers, merchandise
returns and inventory counts. Add bar coded items to the
inventory, print barcodes, generate full inventory reports and
monitor the status of items.
Web Procurement
Create orders by selecting items from
the searchable database with access to major vendor catalogs,
add them to your market basket and specify payment methods
such as internal account number, P-Card or credit card all via
the world wide web. View your current, past and/or pending
orders. Search the on-site surplus inventories for chemicals
and supplies.
Waste Management
Monitor inventory for regulatory
compliance and generate reports providing notification of
chemical wastes requiring disposal. Submit and monitor
requests for both laboratory and campus waste removal. Manage
all aspects of hazardous material and campus safety training.
Financial Management
View purchase orders, billing records,
invoices, customer usage records and sales reports. Access
ledger and journal entries and perform auditing procedures.
Administer accounts.
Resource Management
Administer system users, departments,
locations and vendors. Restrict and assign authority and level
of access. Maintain system security.
